Nanaimo Arts Council Calls for Applications for Annual Artwalk
Online advance registration begins July 4
The 24th edition of Nanaimo Art Walk won’t take place until the end of this year, but artists will soon be able to register their submissions online.
Interested artists can do so online starting July 4 and must be members of the Nanaimo Art Council.
According to a statement from the event, the artwalk itself will take place on December 3-4.
“Dozens of local artists have settled into local businesses, creating an art tour that celebrates the culture of downtown Nanaimo,” the statement read. “It’s perfect for artists looking to sell/promote their art, art lovers looking for new talent to support, people looking for unique holiday gifts, and those just looking to explore their neighborhood d a whole new way.”
Early bird registration will cost $60 until July 31, then $75 until August 22 – the deadline to register. Full guidelines and submission forms will be updated on the arts council website, www.nanaimoartscouncil.cabefore July 4.
