Opening of the art photography exhibition with reception on June 5

The work of 12 Coastal Camera Club art photographers will be on display from Saturday June 5 to Tuesday June 29 at Nassau Valley Vineyards and Winery, 32165 Winery Way, Lewes.

A reception with the artists is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on June 5. Participants can socialize outside with the artists and visit the interior of the gallery to view the exhibition.

With the aim of developing their own artistic styles, evolving and advancing their art, these photographers met virtually and criticized each other’s work, met experts and visited galleries when they could.

The Fine Art Interpretations exhibition represents the culmination of their efforts.

Photography is a tool just like painting, sculpture or other artistic mediums, allowing artists to express themselves. In this exhibition, the photographers reveal the interpretive aspects of their art. The work on display includes classic black-and-white and color photographs. It portrays scenes both familiar and unusual shown in new and interesting ways. Through the aesthetic choices made, the artist seeks to evoke an atmosphere, to create an impact and to tell a story.

The exhibitors of Fine Art Interpretations are passionate about photography and art. As Ansel Adams said, “You don’t take a picture, you take it. ”
